How this shop runs. Not a lawyer’s brief. If a rule here and the terms disagree, the stricter line wins. Last written 29 Aug 2026.
ClearPortals is a member-owned doorway. One login. Your models. Shared roof. We are not OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google, DeepSeek, Perplexity, or ElevenLabs. We do not resell their models and we do not take a cut of tokens.
Grok is the house door. GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, image, voice, search, and hear are there if you brought those keys. Gemini is optional, never the default.
A shop joins with an email and a password. Founding rate is $19 / month (or $190 / year) while Stripe is still being wired by hand. That share is for the roof: hosting, login, and the software of the door. Token spend stays on your vendor bill.
Five seats in a founding workspace. The roster is the books. We can refuse or close a shop that burns the roof.
You paste your own keys in Settings. They are encrypted at rest. We cannot show them back. We do not use your keys for our own work, mix them with another shop, or sell them.
You can keep your own keys forever. Opting into a bulk pool, when one exists, is a choice — never automatic. Do not store a secret on this door that you cannot afford to keep on a small server.
This is the line that matters.
The room is a switch. What comes back is from the vendor you picked, on your key, under that vendor’s terms. Models guess. They are wrong sometimes. They are not a doctor, a lawyer, a tax advisor, a broker, or a licensed professional of any kind. Do not rely on the door for medical, legal, tax, safety, or financial decisions.
We do not promise the door is always up, that a model is accurate, that a key will keep working, or that the shop is fit for a particular purpose. The door is provided as-is and as-available.
You are responsible for your people, your seats, your keys, your vendor bills, and whatever is sent through your shop. If a seat misuses the door, that is the shop’s problem, not the co-op’s.
To the fullest extent the law allows, ClearPortals and the people running it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; business interruption; or vendor charges on your keys — even if we were told those things might happen.
If a court still finds us liable for something we can be liable for, that amount is capped at the roof share you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Vendor token spend is not part of that cap. We never hold it.
You will cover the co-op (and the people running it) for claims that come from your misuse of the door, illegal use, someone else’s use of your login, or burning the roof.
The domain may be sold. If it is, accounts may close or move. Paid months are not a claim on the name, the code, or a future owner.
These limits are the bargain for a $19 roof. If you need an enterprise indemnity, this is not that door.
One vault. Every shop has a T-account. That T-account is their bank. Leftover tokens go in at the rate the shop paid. Another shop can buy the lot. Cost cannot exceed what is left — the vault refuses a markup. The journal is append-only and sealed on the host. Keys never sit in the vault file. Settle a buy through books@ until Stripe is live. A pooled lot rides on the seller’s key already on file, by their choice.
Roof first. Bulk later, only when we actually buy it, then divided among shops who opt in — not marked up. Extra after the roof goes to lowering the next share or a bigger room, not a quiet margin.
That gap (list for one shop, bulk for many) is the co-op’s arbitrage. We divide it. We do not pocket it. No arb is claimed until a real buy is on the books. Full explanation: Arbitrage.
The books stay public. Member count, roof target, founding rate, door-call counts. No chat text. No fake wholesale number.

Use the door like a shop you share. No abuse of vendors, no scraping the roof, no stuffing other people’s secrets into the room, no using the door to break the law. Founding access can be revoked if someone burns the roof. We will say so, and the books will show a closed shop, not a silent purge story.
Email, a password hash, encrypted keys, and a thin usage log (time, vendor, success). Chat words go to the vendor and are not archived here. Full detail lives on Privacy.
Write the right box. We read them as a shop, not as a ticket mill.
The public door. Inquiries, join questions, “what is this.”
The door is stuck, a key failed, a seat needs help.
Money, the split, invoices, “what did we pay.”

Remove keys in Settings any time. To delete the shop, write hello@clearportals.com. We will drop the account and the encrypted keys. Usage lines on the books may remain as anonymous door traffic.
